CHMC - NURSING ATTENDANT

About the role

Provides basic patient care such as, personal assistance, medical attention, emotional support or other personal care, in an acute care setting, as delegated and supervised by a Registered Nurse or LPN. Responsible for implementing specific procedures and programs, coordinating work within and among other departments, reporting pertinent information to immediate supervisor, responding to inquiries or requests for information, and assisting immediate supervisor with tasks which support departmental operations.

Responsibilities

• Implements specific procedures and programs.
• Covers work within and among other departments.
• Reports pertinent information to immediate supervisor.
• Responds to inquiries or requests for information.
• Assists immediate supervisor with tasks which support departmental operations.

Qualifications

• N.Y.S. Nursing Attendant Certification (C.N.A.)
• High school graduate or equivalent

Benefits

• This rate does not include the $5 evening shift differential for hours worked between 3p-11p (must work 4 hours to qualify)
• The $2 per diem differential

Pay

• Nursing Attendant (Grade 6): $18.93-$23.45*
• *This rate does not include the $5 evening shift differential for hours worked between 3p-11p (must work 4 hours to qualify) or the $2 per diem differential.

Schedule

• Primary Shift: 7a-7:30p
• Variety of shifts as needed
