About the role
The LPN performs tasks and responsibilities within the framework of case-finding, health teaching, health counseling, and provision of supportive and restorative care under the direction of a registered professional nurse, licensed physician, or other select licensed authorized health care provider. The LPN ensures compassionate, engaged care meets or exceeds quality standards in an efficient and safe manner consistent with NYS licensure and CHMC standard of care. Work is performed under the direct supervision of an RN for the duration of the shift.
Clinic is open one weekend day (typically Saturday unless a holiday falls on that day) to provide services six days a week. Candidates are expected to rotate weekend shifts.
Responsibilities
- Prime and disinfect dialysis machines
- Perform hemodialysis catheter care pre- and post-treatment
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid NYS LPN license
- BLS certification
- Current CPR certification
Pay
Pay range: $26.48 – $31.83 per hour. This rate does not include the per diem differential of $2.
Schedule
- Per diem, day shift: 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM (10-hour shifts)
