RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for assisting doctors with patient care, including physical therapy modalities and rehab exercises
- Variety of administrative, marketing, and sales tasks as assigned
- Greeting patients and visitors in a professional manner
- Physical therapy modalities under the direction of the doctor
- Teach and monitor patients performing rehab exercises, and teach home exercises
- Accurate and efficient data entry of billings and charges
- Working with the front desk staff to optimize patient satisfaction
- Disinfect and maintain treatment rooms and equipment
- Front desk responsibilities: answering phones, taking messages, confirm appointments and other administrative tasks as assigned
- Clinical research: requires collecting and completing forms with patient data
- Regularly communicate with patients, doctors, and other referral sources while working in a clinical environment, including direct patient care
- Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Degree
- Previous Experience preferred, not required
- Preferred backgrounds (not required) include: Medical Assistants, CNAs, Chiropractic Assistants, Physical Therapy Techs, Rehab Aides, Athletic Trainers, and any other patient care or medical office professionals interested in making a difference in patients' lives!
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Familiarity with using MS Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
