Chipseal Roller Operator

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ability to safely and productively perform asphalt paving operations using roller equipment.
• Communicate and listen effectively.
• Establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships with all personnel.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections to identify any safety and maintenance issues.

Requirements

• One year or more experience operating asphalt roller equipment.
• Knowledge of the aspects of paving operations.
• A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred.
• Valid drivers license.
• Willingness to work day shifts and night shifts, with shifts varying according to project demands.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Willingness to travel if required.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform steady to intermittent and repetitive physical activity including standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, walking on uneven ground, lifting, carrying, pushing, shoveling, and raking.
