Chip Design Engineer, Nitro Chip Design Team
About the role
Annapurna Labs, an Amazon team, designs and delivers high-end, custom silicon at the heart of AWS. Our chips—Trainium (the purpose-built ML accelerator driving AI innovation), Graviton (the Arm-based server processor redefining price-performance), and Nitro (the advanced network and cloud management controller underpinning every AWS instance)—set the industry standard. You will develop cutting-edge products within a disruptive system architecture, working on technologies that power the world’s largest cloud provider in a dynamic, open, and fast-paced environment.
As a Chip Design Engineer on the Nitro project, you will influence the device through its entire lifecycle—from product definition to mass production—collaborating with Architecture, Software, Verification, Backend, and DFT teams. Your designs will be integrated into the Nitro SoC and deployed on millions of servers worldwide, offering large-scale impact.
