About the role

Threat Tec is a federal contractor or subcontractor subject to certain governmental recordkeeping and reporting requirements for the administration of civil right laws and regulations. Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of security strategies and solutions.
  • Perform threat assessments and vulnerability analyses.
  • Develop and maintain secure systems and applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with security policies and standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience in cybersecurity or a related field.
  • Knowledge of common cybersecurity frameworks and methodologies (e.g., NIST, CIS).
  • Experience with network security, endpoint protection, and incident response.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • CISSP certification preferred.
  • Experience with cloud security services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Hands-on experience with penetration testing tools and techniques.
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).

Skills

  • Advanced knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, Java).
  • Experience with security auditing tools (e.g., Nessus, OpenVAS).
  • Good understanding of ethical hacking principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually.
