Chinese Interpreter

About the role

We are seeking to onboard hard-working, fully-bilingual foreign language interpreters to provide in-person interpretation for our local Nebraska clients. Requirements

• Fully bilingual
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Familiarity with medical terminology
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality / HIPAA compliance
• Must have transportation to attend appointments locally (in-person interpreters only)
• Technical skills for learning/using online portal (printing and uploading vouchers required)
• Must have access to a printer
• Background checks and drug screens required
• Proof of vaccination required as part of hiring process (medical or religious exemptions considered; documentation may be submitted prior to interview)

Qualifications

• Interpreting experience and/or certification preferred

Schedule

PRN (as needed), part time (or less depending on languages spoken), and flexible based on interpreter's availability and preferences. Applicants must have some availability Monday–Friday, 7 AM – 5 PM, as this is when services are typically needed. Hours are not guaranteed and are based on availability, languages spoken, and client needs.
