Chiller Attnd Labor PR02 - 2nd shift - Monett

Rehire consideration: Maximum of two previous Tyson employments with a 180-day (6-month) waiting period. Relocation assistance is not eligible for this position.

Responsibilities

• Perform hourly checks and maintain accurate records of bird temperatures, PAA levels, chlorine levels, and overall chiller performance.
• Adjust chiller agitation, maintain appropriate water levels, monitor bird moisture, and track condensation in the area.
• Monitor and adjust pH levels as needed.
• Regulate auger speeds and check temperatures at various points within the chiller system.
• Pick up birds from the floor around the chillers and from drain pans under the lines.
• Assist with cleaning by washing down the chiller area and the evisceration department during breaks.
• Coordinate with the refrigeration team to maintain optimal chiller temperatures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Requirements

• Frequent lifting of 5 pounds or more.
• Repetitive motions including gripping, pushing, lifting, pinching, and pulling.
• Willingness and ability to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Basic math skills for calculations.
• Ability to perform data entry in company computer systems.
• Computer/tablet skills (English).
