Childrens Coach/Youth Trainer

About the role

KidStrong Cibolo is seeking enthusiastic coaches to join our dynamic team. Ideal candidates have experience coaching children from walking age through 11 years old, or pediatric OT/PT experience. Classes run weekdays mid-mornings and evenings, and weekends starting at 8 AM. The position is part-time, requiring both weeknight and weekend availability with one weekend day required.

Responsibilities

• Teach the KidStrong curriculum as provided by the HQ programming team
• Maintain and clean center equipment and floor
• Record class data using the KS Coach's App
• Communicate with co-workers via Slack
• Assist parents of students ages three and younger with class direction
• Attend monthly center staff programming meetings

Requirements

• High energy and positive attitude
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
• CPR certified
• Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics
• Effective interpersonal communication skills
• Comfortable working with children and ensuring their safety
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment

Qualifications

• Experience coaching kids from ages walking to 11 years old in an athletic or coaching environment
• Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics
• CPR certified
• Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills

Benefits

• Compensation: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
