Children's Soccer Coach

About the role

Soccer Shots is seeking a passionate part-time Youth Soccer Coach to serve children ages 2-8. You’ll laugh, break a sweat, and go home knowing you made a difference. Local candidates only (no work status or visa sponsorship available).

Schedule

Hours between Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm and Saturday–Sunday, 9am–12pm. Must be available to work one weekend day. A full ten-week commitment is required to take on a lead role.

• Flexible scheduling: sessions are assigned closest to you, with opportunities to change availability each season (winter/spring/summer/fall).
• Mondays through Fridays: mornings, afternoons, and evenings are optional.
• Saturdays: mornings are required.

Pay

Competitive base pay:

• Training rate: $22.50/hour.
• After training: $25/hour (including admin and setup/breakdown time).
• Pay can reach up to $35/hour through advancement.

Responsibilities

• Bring “Soccer Island” alive with enthusiasm and creativity.
• Conduct soccer sessions for children 2 to 8 years old, including field set-up and take-down.
• Encourage character development through positive reinforcement and modeling.
• Utilize Soccer Shots’ expert-created curriculum and early childhood development teaching techniques.
• Foster a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.
• Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and teachers.
