Children’s Ministry Director / Children’s Pastor

The Children’s Ministry Director position at CBC Seymour is vital to nurturing the faith of our youngest members, from infants through 6th grade. The role involves creating a Christ-centered, safe, and engaging environment where children can grow in their relationship with Jesus. Additionally, the director will partner with parents by equipping, encouraging, and supporting families as they seek to disciple their children and build a strong biblical foundation in the home.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a Christ-centered, safe, and engaging environment for children aged infants through 6th grade.
• Partner with parents to equip, encourage, and support families in discipling their children and building a strong biblical foundation in the home.

Requirements

• Passionate and spiritually mature individual.
• Experience working with children and families.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other ministry staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (ministry, education, etc.) preferred.
• Experience in a similar role preferred.
