Childcare Worker

Part-time position in El Cajon, CA.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage with children in a variety of activities.
• Ensure a safe and nurturing environment.
• Assist with daily routines, including meals, naps, and educational activities.
• Communicate effectively with parents and team members.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom or play area.
• No calling in for the first month; must be dedicated to hours.

Requirements

• Must have or be willing to obtain a Fingerprint Clearance Card or already have Fingerprint Clearance through Childcare Licensing.
• High school diploma.
• Previous experience in childcare or a related field is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Must be able to commute to El Cajon for work; preference given to local candidates.

Schedule

• Part-time, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–12:00 PM with some flexible afternoons (e.g., 2:00–4:30/5:00 PM).
• No weekends.

Pay will increase with dependability and dedication.
