Childcare Teacher - Toddlers

About the role

The Childcare Teacher - Toddlers position at our childcare center is responsible for providing a nurturing environment for toddlers aged 12-36 months. The ideal candidate should have a passion for early childhood education and experience working with young children.

Responsibilities

• Care for up to 12 toddlers in a safe and engaging environment
• Implement age-appropriate educational activities and routines
• Monitor and record daily observations of each child’s development
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive approach to childcare
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s progress and needs

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• At least one year of experience working with children under 5 years old
• Valid CPR and first aid certification
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
• Experience with basic computer operations and childcare software
• Pass a background check and health screening

Pay
