Job Summary
Join Chambliss Center for Children and work with children ages infant through 4 years old in a unique early learning classroom located inside Hamilton County Schools. Positions begin in late July for the upcoming school year.

- Ooltewah Elementary, 8890 Snowy Owl Road, Ooltewah 37363 - 7:30-4:00
- Daisy Elementary, 620 Sequoyah Road, Soddy Daisy 37379 - 8:00-4:00
Pay
Starting pay is based on education and experience:
- $11.00/hour – High School Diploma, no childcare experience required
- $13.00/hour – Child Development Associate (CDA)
- $14.50/hour – Associate Degree
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED
- Ability to pass a fingerprint background check
- Experience working with children is helpful but not required
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Able to work collaboratively with children, families, and coworkers
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage children in a safe, nurturing environment
- Assist with classroom activities that support children's learning and development
- Help maintain an organized and welcoming classroom
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers
- Support the teaching team with daily classroom responsibilities
