This position is available at Tierra Encantada, a childcare facility seeking a bilingual English/Spanish teacher.
Responsibilities
- Teach age-appropriate curriculum to children aged 6 weeks to 12 years
- Provide a safe, nurturing environment for children
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to plan activities and support student development
- Assist with daily routines such as meal times and bedtime
- Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with parents
Requirements
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Valid California Child Development Permit (CDP)
- Experience working with children in a childcare setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Passing scores on the Child Development Associate (CDA) exam or equivalent
Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of child development theories and practices
