About the role
As a ChildServe Autism Day Program childcare teacher, you will provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children with autism spectrum disorder. Your primary responsibilities include facilitating individualized learning plans, implementing evidence-based interventions, and collaborating with families and other professionals.Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized learning plans based on each child's needs and goals.
- Implement evidence-based interventions such as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
- Collaborate with families to support their involvement in their child's education.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, or a related field.
- At least one year of experience working with children with special needs.
- Knowledge of ABA and other evidence-based practices.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
