Childcare Teacher

Job Summary

We are seeking a CHILDCARE TEACHER to join our team at New Horizon Academy Lakeville Dodd. The position is available in the following classrooms: Toddlers, Float, Infants, and Wahe. The salary range is $20.55/hour - $25.30/hour.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will be reliable, have a positive work ethic, and possess a minimum of 16 qualifying semester credits to qualify as an Assistant Teacher under MN Rule 3. Previous childcare experience is preferred but not required. This role involves working full-time (about 40 hours/week).

Requirements

• Must meet or exceed state qualifications for the listed position.
• Must have a passion for working with young children.
• Must have interest in beginning or continuing their education in early childhood education or a related field.
• Must satisfy the Applicant Background Study required by state regulations.
• Must have documentation of U.S. citizenship or eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Must have the physical abilities to perform the required job duties with or without accommodations.
