Childcare Teacher

About the role

We are seeking dedicated, enthusiastic teachers to join our team at Foundations Early Learning Center. Our mission is to enrich children’s lives through meaningful, innovative early learning experiences.

Responsibilities

• Create an engaging classroom where children can learn, play and grow.
• Foster learning through STEAM learning and the Creative Curriculum.
• Use our app to communicate and build relationships with families.
• Ensure a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment.
• Support children’s social and emotional development.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 6 months experience as a teacher in a licensed day care, childcare center or preschool required.
• ECD 101, CDA, or Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education required for lead teachers.
• Successful completion of state background check and health assessments.
• CPR and First Aid certifications (or willingness to obtain).

Pay

The pay rate is determined by relevant education and experience. Candidates with a high school diploma and limited experience will be paid at the lower end of the range. Candidates with ECD 101 to an associate’s degree in early childhood education or a related field may be paid mid-range. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree or higher in early childhood education or a related field and applicable experience may be paid at the higher end of the range.
