About the role
ChildServe is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide a nurturing environment for children while fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities
- Provide individualized attention to each child in care
- Maintain a safe and healthy classroom environment
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support the overall program goals
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Valid Texas teaching certificate
- At least 1 year of experience working with children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Strong commitment to early childhood education
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Experience with child safety and emergency procedures
Skills
- Effective communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage a classroom of up to 20 children
- Knowledge of child development stages

Pay
The salary range for this position is $15.00 - $18.00 per hour.
Schedule
The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM.
