Location: Glenham Elementary School in Fishkill, NY. Part-time, non-exempt position following the school calendar.

About the Role

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a Site Supervisor for our Before School Program at Glenham Elementary School for the 2026–2027 school year. If you love working with children, leading engaging activities, and being part of a positive, supportive team, you’ll help shape a safe and fun environment where kids can grow and thrive.

This position is especially well-suited for parents seeking a school-aligned schedule, education majors or future teachers, and retirees who enjoy mentoring children.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum, including fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and group activities, as well as homework completion.
  • Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment while acting as a positive role model for children.
  • Observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.
  • Support program operations, including attendance records, registration, and staffing responsibilities.

Requirements

  • 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year of experience working with kids under 13 preferred.
  • Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations.
  • Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
  • Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children throughout the day.

Pay

$16.50 per hour.
