Childcare Site Director - Before & After School
Position Overview
The Site Director oversees the Before and After School Program at Mercer Elementary School in Harrodsburg, KY for the 2026–2027 school year. The role involves creating a safe and fun environment for children and facilitating various activities aligned with the Healthy Kids Curriculum.

Position Responsibilities
- Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum
- Create a safe, healthy, and engaging environment for children
- Act as a positive role model and follow state guidelines and policies
- Perform management tasks such as accurate attendance records, registration, and staffing (if applicable)
Requirements
- At least 21 years old
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent documentation
- Associate’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education and Development, or a related field with relevant experience
- One of the following:
- 12 hours of child development training
- Three years of full-time paid experience working with children in a school-based program
- Director’s Credential in Early Childhood Development
- Child Development Associate (CDA) credential
- Three years of full-time paid experience working with children in a school-based program
