The Site Director oversees the Before and After School Program at Mercer Elementary School in Harrodsburg, KY for the 2026–2027 school year. Position Responsibilities
- Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum
- Create a safe, healthy, and fun environment
- Act as a positive role model for children
- Observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies
- Perform management functions such as accurate attendance records, registration, and staffing (if applicable)
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Associate’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education and Development, or other relevant fields with specific experience
- One year of verifiable full-time paid experience working directly with children in a school-based program, Head Start, or a licensed/certified childcare program (including certified home providers)
- Director’s Credential in Early Childhood Development, or Child Development Associate (CDA) credential
