You will assist lead teachers in implementing educational activities, managing classroom dynamics, and supervising children during before and after-school programs and activities. What You'll Do

• Aid in planning and implementing daily activities for school-age children.
• Serve as a supervisor during indoor and outdoor activities to ensure safety.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.
• Support students with homework and educational projects.
• Communicate positively and effectively with children, parents, and staff.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience working with school-age children in a structured setting.
• Ability to pass background checks and fingerprinting required by Connecticut state regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• First Aid and CPR certification and Administration of Medication Certification, or willingness to obtain upon hire.

Nice To Haves

• Credits or Associate degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
• Knowledge of Connecticut childcare licensing regulations.
• Experience organizing recreational games, arts and crafts, or team-building activities.
