Childcare Program Development Contractor, UnbridledACTS

Job Description

The contractor partners directly with the Director of Operations and plays a key role in researching community need, navigating licensing requirements, coordinating conversations with key stakeholders, and helping shape what a future childcare program could look like.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in a professional, nonprofit, research, or project-based environment
• 2–5 years of experience with project coordination, nonprofit operations, community development, early childhood education, program development, or a related field
• Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to research, synthesize, and communicate information clearly
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to track multiple moving pieces independently
• Experience in early childhood education, childcare programming, or familiarity with Colorado childcare licensing preferred
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with community partners, government agencies, and external stakeholders

Position Details

• Contract position
• Expected baseline: 20 hours/week
• Compensation: $25/hour depending on experience
• Potential conversion: Full-time salaried role in January 2027 if mutual fit and budget allow
