Childcare Lead Toddler Teacher

About the role

The Lead Toddler Teacher at Avant Garde Preschool & Early Learning Centers is sought after for their ability to create a joyful and nurturing environment for toddlers. They will be responsible for leading daily activities that promote learning, socialization, and emotional growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum for toddlers
• Provide a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment
• Engage in interactive storytelling sessions
• Encourage imaginative play and physical activity
• Support the social and emotional development of each child
• Document children's progress and communicate with parents regularly
• Collaborate with other teachers and administrators to enhance the learning experience

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Age 18 or older
• Ability to pass all background checks

Qualifications

• Experience working with young children preferred but not required
• Passionate about early childhood education
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Pay

The pay range for this position is $15-$17 per hour.

Schedule

The shift is Monday through Friday, Full Time.
