About the role
Lead Toddler Teacher positions are available at 2 For U Childcare in Des Moines, IA. This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position.
Responsibilities
- Provide a safe, nurturing environment for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and pre-K students.
- Implement developmentally appropriate curriculum that promotes learning through play.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support the overall educational goals of the center.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized classroom.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass all background checks.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in a childcare setting is preferred but not required.
- Energetic and nurturing personality.
- Ability to work well with children and adults.
- Passionate about early childhood education and child development.
Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing situations.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
