Childcare Lead Teacher

About the role

As a Lead Teacher at Learning Grove Academy, you will work in the Toddler classroom, creating fun, out‑of‑the‑box learning moments for infant, toddler, preschool & pre‑k children, building relationships with parents, coaching and mentoring assistant teachers, and fostering a happy learning environment that reflects the academy’s core values.

Responsibilities

• Make every day an adventure in learning.
• Create fun, out of the box, learning moments that children will remember for years to come.
• Create relationships with parents and provide support through daily interactions and communication.
• Coach and mentor assistant teachers to develop a strong classroom teaching team.
• Share with co‑workers the joys of creating “aha” moments with children.

Requirements

• CDA or higher educational credential.

Skills

• Kid magnet – naturally engages children.
• Makes learning fun.
• Flexible and able to multi‑task.
• Willing to wear pajamas and crazy hair on special days.

Pay

$16 – $18 per hour, based on experience and education.

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 6:00 pm.
