About the role
Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the childcare center, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children. Manage staff, implement curriculum, and collaborate with families to support child development.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations including classroom management, health and safety protocols, and emergency procedures.
- Implement and manage the childcare curriculum to meet developmental milestones.
- Collaborate with families to provide individualized care plans and support child development.
- Manage staff, conduct performance evaluations, and ensure compliance with state regulations.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in early childhood education.
- Valid first aid and CPR certification.
- Experience working with diverse populations and cultural backgrounds.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for early childhood education and child development.
Skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
