About the role

The Education Coordinator plays a pivotal role in driving educational excellence within our organization. They are responsible for supporting classroom monitoring and program development, ensuring the effective implementation of our curriculum, and providing guidance to teachers to enhance the educational experience for children and families.

Responsibilities

  • Support classroom monitoring and program development
  • Ensure the effective implementation of the HighReach Learning curriculum and activity plans and enhancement plans across all age groups
  • Foster an engaging and effective learning environment
  • Support teacher and family retention through resources, knowledge, and support
  • Evaluate classroom environments using various assessment tools and provide recommendations for improvements
  • Provide constructive feedback and support to teachers, fostering continuous improvement
  • Conduct formal and informal classroom observations, sharing feedback with teachers and administration
  • Aid in new employee training and mentorship
  • Attend monthly Education Coordinator calls or watch recordings to stay updated on company goals, educational requirements, and best practices
  • Foster a welcoming environment for children, families, and teachers

Requirements

This role requires strong communication skills, adaptability, and a passion for teaching and mentorship. No specific educational background is required, but candidates should have a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field.

Qualifications

Experience working in early childhood education, preferably in a leadership capacity, is preferred. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with educational software platforms is beneficial.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a commitment to continuous professional development are key.
