About the role

The role involves leading infant care activities, implementing developmentally appropriate practices, and fostering a nurturing environment for young children.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement daily infant care activities that promote physical, cognitive, and social development.
  • Provide a safe, clean, and engaging learning space for infants.
  • Observe and document each child’s progress and needs, and communicate observations to parents.
  • Collaborate with other caregivers and staff to ensure consistent care and support for infants.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and guidelines.

Requirements

  • A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • At least one year of experience working with infants.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred.
  • Valid first aid and CPR certification.

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with children and families.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Positive attitude and ability to manage stress in a fast-paced environment.

Skills

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience with infant feeding and diapering techniques.
  • Knowledge of child development stages and milestones.
