About the role
The role involves leading infant care activities, implementing developmentally appropriate practices, and fostering a nurturing environment for young children.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement daily infant care activities that promote physical, cognitive, and social development.
- Provide a safe, clean, and engaging learning space for infants.
- Observe and document each child’s progress and needs, and communicate observations to parents.
- Collaborate with other caregivers and staff to ensure consistent care and support for infants.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
Requirements
- A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- At least one year of experience working with infants.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred.
- Valid first aid and CPR certification.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with children and families.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Positive attitude and ability to manage stress in a fast-paced environment.
Skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Experience with infant feeding and diapering techniques.
- Knowledge of child development stages and milestones.
