Childcare Enrichment Leader

Overview

The Goddard School in Milton, MA is seeking an Enrichment Leader to join a dynamic team of educators committed to fostering a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children. This position offers a supportive and collaborative culture, along with competitive salary and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement enrichment programs across various classrooms, such as Languages, Science, Yoga, Coding, Handwriting, Music, Gardening, Chess, etc.
• Create class enrichment schedules and work with co-teachers to implement these programs throughout the school.
• Support the advancement of physical and intellectual competence by adapting enrichment activities to meet individual child needs.
• Communicate effectively with parents and fellow staff members to ensure children's developmental needs are met.
• Provide positive guidance to support social and emotional development among children.
• Establish positive relationships with families and understand and implement Goddard’s Health & Safety procedures.
• Participate in recommended training programs, conferences, and other professional development opportunities.
• Perform other tasks and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Meet state qualifications and national hiring standards, including abilities to hear, see, speak, lift, and respond to emergencies.

General Qualifications

• Ability to communicate with children and adults appropriately and professionally.
• Experience working with children from 6 weeks to 6 years.
• Knowledge of Goddard’s Health & Safety procedures.
