Childcare Custodian (Part-Time)

Since 2008 we have provided high‑quality care and education at eight state‑of‑the‑art learning centers throughout NE Ohio. Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, classrooms, and other common areas.
• Complete routine trash removal.
• Assist with inventory management, including ordering and receiving of cleaning supplies.
• Maintain positive relationships with children, staff, and parents, and communicate effectively with all team members.
• Attend and participate in professional development and training sessions as needed.

Requirements

• Availability to work evenings only after 6:00 PM for 2–3 hours, 3 days a week.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time‑management skills.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Experience in facilities maintenance is a plus.
• Current Tdap and MMR vaccinations; TB screening required.

Schedule

Evenings only after 6:00 PM for 2–3 hours, 3 days a week.

Pay

Competitive hourly rate of $13.00–$16.00, based on experience and credentials.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, and bend for long periods.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lb.
