About the Role
Chroma Early Learning Academy is a nurturing and inclusive environment dedicated to providing high-quality care and education for children. We believe in fostering a healthy and safe atmosphere where children can grow, play, and thrive. As part of this mission, we are looking for a dedicated Childcare Cook to prepare nutritious and balanced meals for our little ones and also provide support to teachers and staff.
Responsibilities
- Prepare meals/snacks for children and staff while abiding by health and nutrition guidelines.
- Maintain inventory of food and kitchen supplies.
- Follow the provided daily menu.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.
- Classroom Assistance as needed.
Requirements
- Work experience in cooking and/or food preparation for multiple individuals, preferably in a childcare setting.
- A High school Diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- An understanding of all current and local regulations.
