Childcare Cook

Overview

The Nest School, a fresh new childcare concept, is seeking a full-time Cook. We are a place where children can learn, grow, and have fun. We prioritize wellness and believe in making learning enjoyable.

Responsibilities

• Planning and posting menus for children, ensuring awareness of food allergies
• Maintaining inventory for food and kitchen supplies to prepare nutritional meals for children
• Distributing meals to classrooms, maintaining sanitary conditions and standards
• Ensuring overall sanitation of the kitchen, storage, and meal prep areas
• Properly recording and reporting meals served

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience with nutritional meal preparation
• Experience in a school or restaurant environment is preferred
• Displays compassion, creativity, alertness, flexibility, patience, and consistency
• Time management and good communication skills, both written and oral
• State Food Manager License or willing to obtain

Pay

Pay Range: USD $12.00 - USD $19.00 /Hr.
