Childcare Cook

About the role

We are seeking a Childcare Cook to join our New Horizon Academy team at our Elkhorn school. This position offers a $3,000 hiring bonus and a wage range of $16.30/hr to $18.55/hr. The schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 7:00am to 4:00pm.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals while accommodating food allergies and restrictions in a child-centered environment.
• Collaborate with a team and maintain a positive work ethic.
• Support a nurturing atmosphere that inspires children’s love of learning.
• Comply with state licensing regulations and company policies.
• Communicate effectively with children, families, and staff.

Requirements

• Meets or exceeds state qualifications for the position.
• Previous experience in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
• Must satisfy the Applicant Background Study required by state regulations.
• Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to work legally in the United States.
• Physical ability to perform required job duties, with or without accommodations.
