Childcare Cook

Hiring bonus eligible. Starting hourly wage: $16.85/hr., with increases based on relevant experience.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–4:00 pm.

About the role

We are seeking a Childcare Cook to join our Olathe team at New Horizon Academy. You’ll prepare meals in a child-centered environment while accommodating food allergies and restrictions. A positive, team-centered attitude and willingness to learn are essential.

Requirements

• Meets or exceeds state qualifications for the position
• Previous kitchen experience preferred; early-childhood or related experience a plus
• Must satisfy state-mandated Applicant Background Study
• Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States
• Physical ability to perform required job duties with or without accommodations
• Effective communication with children, families, and staff
• Understanding of state licensing regulations and company policies
