About This Role
Cheyenne's Early Learning Center in Bridgeport, CT is hiring a Childcare Center Assistant Director to support daily operations at an early childhood education center.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional support to our management team and all visitors to the center
- Handle various office tasks
- Offer polite and professional assistance
- Supervise and manage staff
- Hire and train new hires
- Meet with parents
- Manage enrollment
- Develop programs and curricula
- Establish policies
- Budget
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations
Requirements
- Prior administrative experience
- Knowledge of CT ELDS/ DOTS
- Knowledge of NAEYC accreditation a plus
- Provide 3 professional references
- CPR/First Aid certified
- MUST have 3+ years working in a Early Childhood setting
- MUST have 1+ years working in management position
- Excellent computer skills, especially typing
- Attention to detail
- Associate's Degree or higher in related field or degree in ECE
