About the role
Local employer is looking for a child caregiver with a minimum of 6 months experience. Will be attending to children at a child care institution.
Responsibilities
- Dressing, feeding, bathing, overseeing play, and learning
- Leading daily routines: feeding, diapering, napping, and play for infants and toddlers (6 weeks to 3 years)
- Keeping parents informed and engaged; documenting growth and milestones
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe space
- Being a team player with fellow caregivers and staff
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months experience in child care
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CDA experience in licensed childcare (infant/toddlers preferred)
- Knowledge of child development and best practices
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and meet physical demands of the job
- CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Clean background check
- Friendly, nurturing, and patient personality
