Childcare Bus Driver
Description
Just for Kids - Needmore is a licensed childcare center seeking a Bus Driver. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, energetic, passionate about early childhood education, and has a high school diploma or GED, an F endorsed driver's license, and the ability to pass all background checks. They must be 23 years of age or older and have previous childcare experience as a plus.
Required Shift
Monday - Friday, 7:15am - 4:15pm
Compensation
$14-16/hr, based on education and experience.

Hiring Process
- Resume screen
- Phone screen with recruiter (30 minutes)
- On-site interview with Center Director (30-45 minutes)

Main Job Responsibilities
- Transport children daily while following state regulations and health regulations pertaining to duties.
- Follow proper protocol and submit required paperwork to Director in a timely manner.
- Communicate with parents effectively both written and verbally.
- Support coordinating field trips and communicate logistics, procedures and expectations to administration, teachers, and parents.
- Mentor and train substitute Bus drivers to cover absences.
- Maintain the vehicle according to state regulations.
- Maintain a clean, orderly and safe bus.
- Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running and climbing stairs. Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
Qualifications
- High school diploma OR GED
- F endorsed driver's license
- Ability to pass all background checks
- 23 years of age or older
- Previous childcare experience is a plus
