Responsibilities

• Provide a friendly atmosphere for members and children.
• Register and check out children & parents properly.
• Watch and care for children to ensure safety.
• Maintain consistent interaction with children.
• Initiate games, arts & crafts projects.
• Bottle‑feed babies or assist older children as directed by parents.
• Keep children calm and the childcare area clean and sanitized.
• Remove sharp or harmful objects from the work area.
• Answer the childcare phone and communicate information to parents/guardians.
• Know, understand, and follow all policies, procedures, and standards.
• Facilitate member requests or forward them to a manager.
• Know club facilities and services.
• Assist in projects delegated by club management.
• Report to the Operations Manager and follow the Employee Handbook.

Qualifications

• Valid Child/Infant CPR certification.
• Experience working in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong multi‑tasking, communication, safety, and customer service skills.
• High energy and patience.
• Availability from 9 am – 1 pm EST; ability to work occasional weekends.
• 18 + years of age.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry 30–50 lb (children, equipment, or supplies).
• Ability to bend, squat, and sit on the floor with children as needed.
• Any required certifications per local/state laws.

Pay

$17.00 per hour.

Schedule

Variable schedule between 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM EST, with occasional weekend work.
