Childcare Assistant Teacher

About the role

The Nest Shoreline Campus is a family-centered and forward-thinking early learning center with a Reggio Emilia-based approach to childhood learning, activity, and play. Our teachers and staff value relationships with children's families, supporting them as they balance the demands of careers and family.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, learn from, and partner with like-minded professionals who have diverse backgrounds, experiences and learning styles.
• Support the expectations, curriculum and culture of the school.
• Be available Monday-Friday 9 AM until 6 PM, with an option for reduced hours if needed.

Requirements

• A gentle, warm, and playful demeanor.

• A working knowledge of child development.
• A willingness to learn and grow.
• Enthusiasm for being outdoors in all types of weather.
• A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of childcare experience preferred.

Pay

$18.00 - 21.00 per hour, based on education and experience.

Schedule

4-hour shift, 8-hour shift, Monday through Friday on-site.
