- Assist lead teachers in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities and lesson plans.
- Supervise and engage with children to ensure their safety and well-being at all times.
- Support children’s social and emotional development through positive interactions and guidance.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and staff regarding children’s progress and needs.
- Auxiliary with meal and snack times, including feeding and cleaning up.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a CDA credential or related early childhood education coursework preferred. Previous experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with children are essential. Must be able to pass background checks and meet state childcare licensing requirements.
This position is based in a childcare center in Canton, GA. The role requires standing, bending, and engaging actively with children throughout the day.
