Healthy Kids Programs is hiring Childcare Assistants for their Before and After School Program in Cape May, NJ. The position is part-time, non-exempt, and offers employer-paid childcare benefits.

Location: Cape May City Elementary School, Cape May, NJ
Pay & Schedule
PAY: $16.00 per hour
SCHEDULE: SPLIT SHIFT
Morning Program: 7:00 - 8:45 am
Afternoon Program: 2:30 - 5:45 pm

Position Responsibilities
- Facilitating hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum
- Providing a safe, healthy, and fun environment
- Observing state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies
- Performing management functions such as accurate attendance records, registration, and staffing (for certain positions)
Requirements & Qualifications
- High School Diploma and/or 1 year of childcare experience preferred but not required
- Pass all required state background checks
- Able to meet physical demands including bending, stretching, lifting, and carrying up to 50 pounds
- Positive, professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills
- Consistent record of reliability and punctuality
