Childcare Assistant – Before & After School
Description
Healthy Kids Programs is hiring Childcare Assistants for their Before and After School Program at Penn-Bernville Elementary School in Bernville, PA for the 2026–2027 school year.

Position Responsibilities
- Facilitating hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum
- Providing a safe, healthy, and fun environment
- Absolutely observing state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies
- Performing management functions such as accurate attendance records, registration, and staffing (for certain positions)
Requirements
- Minimum Qualifications:
- 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 or more years of experience working with children under 13
- Pass a full background check, including fingerprinting and reference checks
- Be medically fit to perform job duties which includes a clear TB
- Warm, friendly, professional, and reliable
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs.

Schedule
- Morning Program: 7:00 AM - 8:35 AM
- Afternoon Program: 3:20 PM-6:30 PM
Pay
- $13.50 - $14.50 per hour
