About the Role

Provide a safe and high-quality experience to participants by leading youth in educational, recreational, or social activities aligned with program goals. Maintain positive relationships with staff, youth, volunteers, and program site administration while demonstrating strong public relations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure YMCA policies and guidelines are followed at all times.
• Provide safe conditions for children and avoid hazardous or negligent activities.
• Supervise youth at all times and apply assertive discipline procedures.
• Handle all aspects of customer service, including greeting parents, addressing questions, and staying informed on program activities.
• Ensure the individual needs of youth are met for proper program coordination.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
