Position Summary

Provides direct supervision to a group of children in a remote learning program and days out program. Focuses on the YMCA core values: honesty, respect, responsibility, and caring.

About the role

Develops and plans program activities. Ensures all supplies are available and makes supply order lists for the Senior Program Director, submitting the list promptly to facilitate timely ordering. Prepares daily supplies for program staff and maintains cleanliness and organization of program spaces. Leads program staff and holds them accountable for the rules and expectations. Assists in leading staff meetings and trainings. Maintains consistent communication amongst the team about day to day happenings and plans. Establishes positive communication with students, guardians, staff, school administration, and program director. Assists staff with stressful or unusual situations. Supports staff as needed. Performs other duties for the betterment of the program as needed or directed.
