Child Watch Attendant

Schedule

• Primarily morning shifts for a total of 8–20 hours per week.
• Candidates available for a combination of morning and evening shifts are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain visual and auditory supervision of children at all times.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities such as games, arts and crafts, and sports.
• Enforce all child watch policies, rules, and facility guidelines.
• Ensure a clean and safe environment in the Kid Zone area.
• Follow and enforce behavior management policies when necessary.
• Complete required paperwork for child sign-in/sign-out, accidents, and incidents.
• Assist with front desk operations, facility rentals, and special events as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old at the time of employment.
• Previous experience working with children professionally or through volunteer work.
• Ability to obtain First Aid/CPR/AED certification within three months of hire.

Starting Rate of Pay

$15.50 per hour.

Environment and Physical Factors

• This position requires physical activity, strength, and stamina to supervise and play with children.
• Attendants must be able to stand for long periods, lift and carry infants, and actively engage with children on the floor or in play areas.
• Work is performed in a busy Recreation Center environment and requires visual acuity to ensure child safety.

Offers of Employment

Are conditional upon successful completion of a drug screen. A background check is required for applicants aged 18 and older.
