Child Parts Team Leader - 1st Shift

Responsibilities
- Train associates on work instructions and assign tasks accordingly
- Ensure no weld downtime
- Communicate part shortages with production control and stamping
- Work effectively and efficiently
- Able to perform all associate duties as needed
- Address safety issues and violations appropriately
- Respond quickly and effectively to problems, seeking guidance when needed
- Ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) is followed
- Oversee delivery/put away during sort/containment activities
- Complete 5S duties daily
- Comply with all policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Ability to perform all associate duties
- Knowledge of work instructions and task assignment
- Experience with communication and problem-solving
- Understanding of safety protocols
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as bending, crawling, grasping, pushing, reaching, using hands, walking, hearing, seeing, lifting up to 30 pounds, standing for long hours, stooping, kneeling, sitting, climbing, balancing
