Child Nutrition General Worker - 0.84375 FTE at Child Nutrition Services

About the role

Our Child Nutrition staff play an integral part in serving our mission to continuously improve meals and services to meet nutritional requirements, provide a variety of menu items, and give the healthiest choices with the freshest ingredients available. As a General Worker, you would have the opportunity to share these improvements firsthand with the students of our District through the preparation and serving of our meals.

Requirements

• Education Level: High school diploma
• Physical Requirements: Constant standing, hand-eye and mind-eye coordination; frequent repetitive motions with wrists, hands and fingers, bending over, stooping, hearing, holding and crouching.
• Other Requirements: Ability to follow written and oral directions. Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; adhere to District safety procedures. Valid Driver's License and proof of insurance. Consistent work attendance.

Essential Functions & Duties

• Prepares Food.
• Sets up serving line.
• Serves food.
• Cleans serving and preparation area.
• Washes dishes, pots, and pans.
• Restores order to serving area.
• Adheres to District safety procedures.
• Reads communications from Child Nutrition Services Office.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor

PAY INFORMATION

Level DX, starting at $17.75 per hour

Pay Day: Last working day of each month, based on the payroll cutoff schedule.

HOURS & FTE

• Monday through Friday, 10:15 am to 5:00 pm
• 0.84375 FTE, 33.75 hours per week, 9 months
