Child Nutrition - Elementary Manager

Job Description

The successful candidate will oversee the daily operations of the elementary school's child nutrition program. This includes managing staff, ensuring compliance with all food safety regulations, and maintaining a positive and engaging environment for students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the child nutrition program
• Manage and train staff to ensure efficient and effective service
• Maintain compliance with all food safety regulations and guidelines
• Plan and implement programs to promote healthy eating habits among students
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operation of the program
• Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all participants

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in nutrition, food service management, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a food service management position
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations governing child nutrition programs
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
